Kdocs versions, buyer links, signatures, and audit history

Versions stay explicit

Editing a document creates or advances a stored version instead of rewriting the buyer history. Review the current version and document hash before activating a share.

  • A buyer link is unguessable and tied to one document.
  • The link works only while the share is active.
  • Revoking a share stops future access without deleting the workspace's audit history.
  • A room can share a specific document version so later edits do not quietly change what that buyer received.

Signatures and exports

A typed signature is accepted only for the active, unchanged document. Export and download actions remain scoped to authorized workspace users and are disabled during support viewing.

The hash, versions, opens, and signature events are evidence of the product workflow. They do not replace legal advice or your own document policy.
