Sends are deferring — is something wrong?

Deferred means queued for the next safe window, with the reason recorded. Most deferrals are the limits doing their job.

Read the reason#

• Outside working hours — normal. The send fires when the seat's window opens.
• Account at cap — normal. The daily or weekly ceiling is reached; volume resumes with the window. Persistent? Add a seat or raise the cap deliberately.
• No account available — action needed: the Kampaign has no Connected seat for that channel. Check Settings → Connections and the Kampaign's attached seats.
• Send failed — the provider hiccuped; it retries. A pattern of these on one seat is worth a look at that account's health.

The engine itself#

HQ shows the engine's heartbeat and backlog. A recent heartbeat with a small backlog means the system is healthy and simply pacing — a stale heartbeat is the one signal worth escalating.
