Edit, schedule, cancel, and recover a Kontent draft

Last verified 2026-07-23

Provider-connected LinkedIn publishing is not available yet. Scheduling plans the workflow, never publishes a LinkedIn post, and creates no provider resource or spend.

The safe edit loop

  1. Open the saved draft and review its current text and structure notes.
  2. If it has an active practice schedule, cancel that schedule first.
  3. Edit and save the draft as the version you want to rehearse.
  4. Choose an authorized LinkedIn Connection and a future time, then schedule the new practice run.

Read the state before retrying

  • Scheduled means the frozen draft version is waiting for its practice time.
  • Complete means the rehearsal finished; it does not mean LinkedIn published anything.
  • Canceled means that calendar entry will not run.
  • A clear failure can be corrected and scheduled again. Do not create repeated entries while an earlier state is still changing.

Support viewing can inspect the draft and calendar, but cannot generate, save, edit, delete, schedule, reschedule, or cancel.
