Specialized service founders and small BDR teams

Build a focused B2B outreach brief

Choose one audience, a useful reason to connect, and a reply you can handle before building a sequence.

Guide dated September 30, 2026. Your actual report has its own evidence time and scope.

The work to complete

  1. Choose a problem you understand

Describe the buyer's work in their words. Separate a public observation from your hypothesis. A job posting can suggest a topic; it does not prove that the company wants your service.

    Keep this artifact

We help [specific role] handle [specific task] through [deliverable]. Evidence: [approved source]. Still unknown: [question].

  2. Set the inclusion and exclusion rules

Write the industry, company size, role, and geography. Exclude existing customers, people who declined contact, competitors where appropriate, and companies you cannot serve. Check suppression before enrollment.

    Keep this artifact

An audience brief with five inclusion rules and explicit exclusions.

  3. Offer a useful first exchange

For a new relationship, use one relevant observation and a small question or useful resource. For a referral or existing conversation, acknowledge the shared context. Use a meeting request when expressed interest makes it helpful.

    Keep this artifact

One opening message and one useful follow-up, each based on known context.

  4. Design the reply path

Name who answers interest, questions, declines, referrals, and out-of-office replies. Write a stopping rule. A reply needs human review before any decision to resume a sequence.

    Keep this artifact

A reply guide with an owner, a response window the team can honor, and stop conditions.

  5. Review a small, coherent cohort

Use actual review and reply capacity to choose the cohort. Validate the records and copy. Keep the Kampaign draft for approval; sending requires the paid Sending Seat, authorized Konnections, and launch checks.

    Keep this artifact

An approved brief and draft sequence with a review date. No volume or meeting forecast is implied.

How we use Klosent: the workflow

Fictional example: a cloud-cost consultancy helps finance and engineering leaders prepare a cloud-spend review. Its founder has two hours each week to research and answer replies.

An example to adapt, with no customer result or live execution. Access and actions depend on authorized scope and your Workspace's actual availability.

  1. 01

    Free Growth Planner

    Start with
Offer: a cloud-spend review. Audience: finance leaders at B2B software companies. Capacity: two hours weekly. Channel: LinkedIn.
    Reviewable output
A local outreach draft and review checklist, exported as text or JSON.
    Human decision
The founder checks the audience and removes any unsupported promise. Planner inputs stay in the browser; the planner does not contact anyone.
  2. 02

    Kontacts → Kampaign Wizard

    Start with
A separately reviewed, permitted cohort and the approved targeting brief.
    Reviewable output
A saved Kampaign draft with reviewed copy, delays, exclusions, and reply handling.
    Human decision
The authorized owner checks the active Sending Seat, suppression, Konnections, and actual readiness before approving a launch.
  3. 03

    Konvos

    Start with
An eligible inbound conversation after approved delivery setup.
    Reviewable output
A human-reviewed answer to the buyer's actual question.
    Human decision
If the buyer asks for a checklist, share the useful resource. Offer a call when it serves their expressed need. Record the next owner and stop on a decline.
